Another fabulous makers to introduce today!"Hi, I’m Jane Campbell – @craftycambrianI make sculptures from wool using barbed needles. Based in Old Goginan, my inspiration is drawn from the wild beauty of Wales, nature, animals and folk lore. Each piece I create reflects a deep connection to heritage and heart. I am one third of the Y Bwthyn 2025 art collective. Our mission is to create cosy, quirky, comforting art, all handmade with love. As we approach our first birthday in our permanent home in Aberystwyth, we'd love to introduce some of our artists and makers! We'd be really greatful if you'd drop us a comment or share, social media being what it is these days! First up tidelineceramics "My name is Roz, and I am a small-batch studio potter living and working just a stone's throw from the beach on the rugged, west coast of Wales. Living in such close proximity to the sea isn’t just a lifestyle choice for me; it is the heartbeat of my ceramics. The shoreline is my constant source of inspiration, a dynamic landscape where the elements collide and leave behind a wealth of visual and tactile stories. Every day, the changing tides rewrite the the beach, and it is this fluid, natural artistry that influences my work.I create a diverse range of both wheel-thrown and hand-built stoneware ceramics. My process is slow and deliberate. I choose to work in small batches because it allows me to give each individual piece the time, focus, and character it deserves. No two items that leave my kiln are ever exactly alike. Each bowl, mug, and vase carries its own distinct personality, heavily influenced by the rugged Welsh coastline, the treasures discovered along the tideline, and the vibrant sea life that inhabits our local waters. Each piece is designed to be highly tactile, entirely unique, and deeply rooted in the Welsh coastal landscape. When you hold a piece of Tideline Ceramics, you are holding a fragment of the coast, translated through clay and fire."#thebaygallery #tidelineceramics #studiopotter See MoreSee Less
